Woww it has already been 4 days in Indonesia..ma gawd, the pendulum swings so fast!!
Today is a free and easy day for us which means that Pak Yahya and Mas Ofi will not be accompanying us until it is time for airport transfer. They promised to pick us up at the hotel exactly at 1630hrs.

So, after breakfast, we went to the information counter at the hotel lobby. We asked for directions to any Art Gallery or Art Museum in Jakarta. So, they called a cab and the cab took us to Museum Sejarah and also Museum Senireka dan Keramik (Arts and Ceramic Museum) at Fatahilah, Jakarta.

We then got back to the hotel by another cab..it took us some time to look for cab in Fatahilah. Once we arrived at the hotel, we packed our bags and checked out at 1300hrs. Then we waited at the lobby for Pak Yahya and Mas Ofi to come and pick us up as the time promised - 1630hrs. While waiting for them to come, i fell asleep at the lobby couch a few times. Then, the digital camera ran out of battery. So, i went to a nearby market at Cempaka Putih. Thank gawd they have energizer AA batteries for sale. The price was about 10,000 rupiah, same as Giant Supermarket's price in Bandung.

At 1630hrs sharp, Pak Yahya and Mas Ofi arrived at the hotel. We got our bags into the van and was taken to Soekarno Hatta International Airport.

At the airport, we took picture with Mas Ofi.....he;s such a good driver!

Bandung - Puncak - Jakarta [Day 3]

Today Pak Yahya and Mas Ofi picked us up at 0730hrs. After having an early breakfast, we checked out from the hotel and headed to Puncak. This wasnt part of the itinerary of the trip. But we arranged the trip to Puncak with Pak Yahya and he said its possible to go there. Just add 200,000rupiah if im not mistaken. So we went off to Puncak. The road to Puncak was kinda cool. The scenery was really really nice. We could see the real lives of Indonesians actually. Those living at this area are those poor people. Puncak is just like Cameron Highlands. There's a famous private tea plantation where they produce the famous Indonesian tea - Walini. So we went to its factory and tried the tea.

After Puncak, we continued our journey to Jakarta. We passed through Bogor and had the chance to visit Istana Bogor. This used to be the place where Gus Dur lived. Now, the place had turned into a deer park. The building looks exactly like the White House.

So, we then went straight off to Jakarta for lunch. The food again was marvellous de perfecta! wallaaaa~ The favourite dish for today;s lunch is the chicken satay! Its not like we dont have any satay in malaysia, but the satay recipe at this restaurant is walaaaaueehhhhh....niceeeeeeeee~~~ Satay with limey' peanut sauce! sedapppppp....

We then headed to Monas (Monument National), one of the famous tourist attraction in Jakarta. then we went to Ancol Theme Park. But since its raining, they just showed us around by van. We didnt get off the van. The theme park is huge! They told me that the theme park opens daily till 11pm. But the park around the theme park open 24 hours.."untuk apa pak?" (what for?) I asked. "untuk muda mudi berpacaran" (for youngsters to date) said Pak Yahya. wawww...hahaha..like dat ahhh~~

Then we went to WTC Mangga Dua Complex for shopping. When we got out of the Complex, we were surrounded by flood!! It was raining heavily and already flooded. Our van waited for us outside the gate. So we had to roll up our pants up to the knees, holding our shoes in the hands, we went through the flood and into the van. We then got stuck in a very heavy traffic jam because of the flood. Then we went to the restaurant for dinner - Padang Food.

After dinner, we checked in at Grand Cempaka Hotel down Cempaka Putih, Jakarta. I started coughing and coughing and coughing..maybe i got dehydrated..

Breakfast at the hotel was awesome..nice food..two thumbs up to Sukajadi Hotel..it is a 3 Star hotel..facility and food is good..i can say that it is a superb place for budget travellers or for family..the room and toilet is clean..and staffs were all friendly. But, one thing that bothers me is TIPPING..it's like a MUST give thinggy!! So, to avoid giving out tips, i didnt even bother to call room service to send iron to our room..so, all clothes during the stay in Indonesia were..............................(fill em up with your creative ideas yeah.. ).

There's already hot sun at 0600hrs!! Pak Yahya and Mas Ofi picked us up at the hotel at 0900hrs. We went to Tangkuban Perahu Volcano..we stood beside the hole??? The big one is no longer active..There;s just few small ones which are active still..Gas came out from the hole and i was so excited. The smell was unique, so i sniffed...sniffed.....and sniffed...

There are many sellers waiting, attacking and stalking us from the moment we came down from the van. Seriously, there wasnt any privacy left for us..no room for privacy at all!! We really really feel uncomfy' to buy anything from them. Coz once we buy something, other sellers would crowd us and wanting us to buy their item as well...so at last we bought nothing..one of the sellers said, "waduhhh...orang malaysia...ngak beli apa2.." (ughhh malaysians...didnt buy anything)

Next, we went to Sri Ater Hot Spring, just below the volcano..There;s this guy selling drinks...he stalked us from the moment we entered into the Park, carrying a cooler box filled with drinks and ice cream..so again, we had no privacy at all..me, my mom, and my dad were talking to each other and the guy just beeped into our conversation!!! We got out of the Park later and didnt buy anything. I was thirsty, but there;s no price tag on the stuffs that he's selling. So he can put any price that he wishes. "Terima kasih pak.." (thanks dude!) i said to him before leaving the Park..

Then, we went to Bandung's city centre for lunch. The town is so crowded. Everyone drives not according to the lanes, but according to their wills and gutts! (sukahati aje......)..So there's like BEEP....PON PON...HONKKK...and screeechhhhh...

After lunch, we went around Bandung city centre for shopping...there;s this high street area where all the shopping malls are situated. We had the chance to visit Indonesian Batik Boutique. It's interesting as they provide pretty models to try out the Batik materials for you. So, they wrap around their body and we choose the cloth we want..but guyssss....heheheh u think we girls dunno??!! come onnnnnn....boys will be boys...u guys would surely be choosing the models instead of the Batik wrapped around the models....ohohoho damn u guys!!

So we went back a while that evening....and went out for dinner at this 'Padang Food' Restaurant at the heart of Bandung..there's Giant Supermarket infront of this restaurant. So we went there a while just to buy a AA energizer battery (costs about 10,000 rupiah for 2 batteries!). You know, it is reallyyy hard to find AA battery in Indonesia. So if you're using AA battery operated digital camera, just bring extra if you are travelling anywhere in this world okay??

Last night i only slept for an hour or two.. maybe i was so excited..

We went to the airport at around 0430hrs..Our flight departed at 0700hrs. I felt sick whilst in the flight coz i didnt have enough sleep last night. Watching the Malacca Straights below really really made me sea sick..so i slept the entire journey. The journey to Jakarta via plane took us 2 hours. We arrived in Jakarta (Soekarno Hatta International Airport) at 0800hrs local time (Malaysian time is 0900hrs).

We were greeted by our tourist guide and driver at the Airport. They took us to the Museum and later to Taman Mini Indonesia. Then, we headed to Bandung with the VW Van. Our tourist guide is Pak Yahya and our 'mas aji mutiara hati look-alike' driver is Mas Ofi.

The journey from Jakarta to Bandung via highway is approximately 3 hours. Luckily i didnt get sick during the journey. The first thing we did upon arrival in Bandung is check in at the Sukajadi Hotel. Then we had a rest after going through a tiring journey.

As for the praying time in Indonesia, Subuh is at 0445hrs, Zohor at 1200hrs, Asar at 1515hrs, Maghrib at 1800hrs, Isyak at around 2000hrs.

We were taken to dinner at around 1830hrs. Here, it is already dark at 1730hrs..The weather in Bandung is cool..around 24 degrees..the time here reminds me of Winter in England!

Yeah..so we went for dinner at Kampoeng Sangkuriang Restaurant..a Bali styled interior..there's a garden with huts..and to eat, we sit in huts..and there's also Bali background music...the food was FANTASTIC!!! This restaurant's specialty is the Fish Sup...We had rice, ikan bakar, fish sup, sotong celup tepung ,ulam-ulaman, sambal belacan, jus durian belanda, plain water. The interesting part is that there wasnt any fork and spoon. They gave us this silver bowl (like in hospitals..hehe) with water and half of lime. So we use this bowl to dip and wash our hands.

After dinner, we drove through the horrific jam in Bandung town. I tell u people, never drive in Bandung if you aren;t good at driving!!!! People drive like crazy hell...haha..

So we just got back from JB last night, and today we (me n tini) are off to Penang..Tini is off back home and me, for vacation. Kai picked us up at my house and then took us off to the Plusliner Bus Centre down KL Commuter Station. The bus departed at 1030hrs and we arrived in Sg Nibong Bus Station at approximately 1430hrs...yes..the bus went fast on the PLUS speedway! They should apologise for being early!!

Tini's dad "kidnapped" us to their home..then after resting a while, we went to Queensbay Mall for a 4pm lunch (again..! ) at Nandos (It was Kai's wish to treat tini there). Then after Maghrib we together with tini's 2 lil sis went to Feringghi Night Market. We got back home, and was later "kidnapped" by liza to Hammer Bay for a nice Siakap Steam..wahhh so yummy yummy delicious! (dinner was on tini! thanks babe! ). Then liza sent me back to my apartment.

The next day, i spent half day shopping at Queensbay Mall with reen..window shopping..shopping..movie..lunch......syiokkk!! Then, in the evening, reen sent me to Starbucks near Tesco behind recsam..met my eldest sis with her friend there..then i went back to my apartment with my sis and her friend.

The following day, reen picked/kidnapped me and my mom and then took us both to Bkt Jambul Complex..window shopping..lunch....chit chatting...syiokkkkkkkk wooooo...haha..
Then, reen took us back to the apartment...had a lil rest, packed up my bags..and was later kidnapped by liza who just got back from work..we went to syifa's office, kidnapped her to her house in Lip Sin Garden. Then liza took me,syifa and her husband out for dinner somewhere near Penang Airport. After dinner, liza sent me straight to the Airport where i met my mom and sis there. We then got back to KL on a 2230hrs flight.

RXs5 hyundai accent 1.5

Picture was taken at Alamanda Putrajaya Concourse area where various automobile were being displayed for sale. Somehow this car did caught my eye..it looks pretty cool especially with the Ferrari styled doors which flings??? up and down. However when i realise that its just a hyundai accent, it does look pretty ugly with the fling doors
